Log in, its Multilingual!
Server access is a one step process and can be by numeric entry, magnetic swipe card, contactless card, fingerprint recognition or a variety of European pen type devices.
Server languages operate in tandem with the base (or setup) language – in other words, a server may interact in German, another server in Spanish and yet another in French. Up to five languages, including the base language are supported.
Server languages can also be auto selected from the server parameters. The standard base language is English.

Runs on standard hardware
Unlike some Point of Sale system which require proprietary hardware, EasiPos runs on industry standard hardware such as Windows based PCs, bar code scanners, printers, scales, beverage dispensers and wireless hand held ordering devices - giving you the freedom to choose your own.
Even better, EasiPos may run on your existing hardware, saving you a ton of money in hardware replacement costs.

Runs on tablets and more
EasiPos 7 runs equally well on a variety of POS terminals, from handheld devices such as the iPad, wall mounted POS terminals , sophisticated retail POS terminals with built in scanners and many more.
The hand held ordering device (EasiPos supports all major brands) is specifically relevant to the hospitality industry, allowing servers to take orders directly at the table and instantly transmitting these orders to the preparation areas wirelessly – leading to greater efficiencies with less staff.
Importantly, all of these POS terminal types can be used together in one system.
A typical example is a hotel with a large exterior pool area using iPads for order taking, the breakfast room or dining area using standard POS terminals and the gift shop using POS terminals with scanners.
POS to scale interface
For butcheries and similar operations, EasiPos has a very powerful feature to halt pilferage or collusion in its tracks.
When the customer settles the bill at the checkout or till point, previously weighed packages are weighed again. EasiPos then checks to see if the weight is the same as before. If a discrepancy is found, EasiPos sets of an alarm for the operator to call the manager to either approve the transaction or to investigate further.
You cannot believe how much money this feature alone has saved our users.

For deli counters within a store. Items are weighed on the EasiPos scale system and a bar code is produced for the parcel of multiple weighed items to be scanned at the cashier’s EasiPos terminal. For standalone scales which produce variable weight bar codes, the bar codes are scanned into an EasiPos terminal via an attached bar code scanner.
Separate credit card terminals are no longer required
Another money saving feature!
EasiPos enables the direct posting to “credit card transaction acquiring systems” from financial institutions without the need for a separate and expensive dedicated terminal. It does it itself and thus transposition errors are nullified.
And there is more. Client and merchant transaction copies are automatically created when completing credit card transactions and after authorization.
In this way, EasiPos actively prevents fraudulent use of your customer’s credit cards (skimming)
In-store marketing with EasiPos
For butcheries and similar operations, EasiPos has a very powerful feature to halt pilferage or collusion in its tracks.
POS terminals and customer displays of various sizes have another major benefit—they present an ideal way to connect to your customers by marketing various products or specials between transactions.
EasiPos supports various media types— and you can even run slide shows. The only limit is your imagination.

Another, less obvious advantage, is that a large customer display is more visible to your customers when they settle their bills and as such, your customers will quickly pick up transaction errors, effectively discouraging your cashiers from making unintended or intended errors.
Face match ID confirmation
A nifty innovation from EasiPos. The Photo ID feature provides a single step solution for various applications.
When signing on an existing debtor, loyalty card user or server, EasiPos immediately matches the user details with a stored photographic image and displays it on-screen for confirmation — actively preventing fraudulent transactions.
A further advantage is that you do not have to ask your loyalty user, debtor or club member for their proof of identity.
A smarter loyalty system
The EasiPos smarter loyalty system offers several methods to encourage your customers to return again and again.
Some examples:
Values written to the loyalty card, i.e. a R500 credit costing the customer R450, creates an effective discount of 10% on all purchases. EasiPos deducts purchases incrementally until the "wallet" amount is either exhausted or reloaded with more credits. Balances are posted to the card at each event.
EasiPos can also create Bonus Rules for loyalty & reward promotions. If a customer buys 10 (for example) of any item over a period of time, they might be rewarded with a freebie, coupon of x value, or a preset discount.
All relevant information is written to the card incrementally at each purchase.
Unlimited recipes database
Your EasiPos system can maintain a recipes database, complete with images and preparation instructions.
In the highly competitive restaurant industry, standards must be kept up to par at all times. If your chef is off sick, on leave or a new chef is in training, the recipes database, available at a press of a button, ensures that your standards are maintained.
To make recipe access even quicker, EasiPos identifies items that have a recipe by placing an [R] on the item button.
Floor plans
EasiPos displays realistic floor plans and seating arrangements for one or more areas.
Operation is easy. Simply select the desired floor plan and touch the table icon to either initiate or continue an order process.
What's more you can see exactly what tables are occupied and where to seat new customers. The design of these plans is entirely in your hands.
Stock alerts
Not only does EasiPos keeps track of all your current stock levels, it actually displays an "out of stock" icon on the relevant item buttons when stock is depleted!
In addition, current stock levels can also be displayed on the item buttons — allowing you to easily optimize stock levels at all times.
In this way, your servers / cashiers always know exactly what the current stock levels are, without having to ask the manager to do an inventory check.

Such transactions are sent on demand (or filed) to Central Stock Managements Systems, for example to procure.net and others.

Delivery system
The delivery process is initiated by pressing the "Phone-in delivery order" button on the main screen which then brings up the dialogue shown on the left. Once completed, the operator assigns a driver for the delivery.
EasiPos prints the appropriate invoices and retains the latest account information, including last order, in its database. Confidential information is not printed.
Driver performance reports are available on demand.
Foreign Currency
With your EasiPos system in place, you will no longer have to irritate customers by stating "Sorry, we do not accept your currency"
The transaction is completed as usual in your local currency and when your customer tenders a foreign currency, EasiPos automatically does the conversion according to the exchange rates in its database. The change due is paid in your local currency. It is as easy as that.
All foreign currency rates in EasiPos can be updated at any time.
Self Training
Normally, the implementation of an advanced point of sale system would incur substantial cost overheads in training and high staff turnovers increase such costs incrementally.
Most often, these "hidden" costs are not factored in initial pricing.
More good news is that EasiPos requires little or no operator training and just in case one does, EasiPos provides easy to understand tutorials that are accessible from the EasiPos database. Additional videos can be added at any time.
Importantly, EasiPos requires no IT skills at all. It is designed to be used by ordinary people.
Reports that make sense
One of the most often heard complaints about modern P OS systems is that reports are too long, complicated and thus difficult to understand.
EasiPos understands that in reporting, one size does not fit all. So instead of having reports that are overlong and obtuse, EasiPos allows you to make up your own bespoke reports from a report listings dialogue.
You can modify your report formats at any time. Even better, you can schedule EasiPos to automatically email selected reports in a secure PDF format to recipients of your choosing.
Print to any printer
Now you can print a receipt, invoice or statement that reflects the status of your establishment.
EasiPos runs on Windows and thus any printer listed in the list of printers can be used, from lasers to inkjets.
The example on the left has been printed on AS whilst the example next to it on the right has been printed by a standard POS receipt/invoice printer.
Printer selections can be changed at any time.
Fail safe printing
Normally, the printing of kitchen orders is via a standard Windows printer. If the printer is in an "out of order" or "out of paper" state when the print inctriirtinn ic initiator' thorn ic a rick of tho nrrlor not being printed - resulting in lost orders, a kitchen disaster and unhappy customers.
To prevent this, EasiPos has an ultra secure printing method communicating directly to the printer driver and an "out of order" print status is immediately issued to the waiter, forcing the waiter to accept the error message with a confirmation.
Assuming the printer is not repairable, EasiPos provides an alternative by allowing the waiter to print the same "stalled" kitchen docket to another kitchen printer—which can be predefined for this purpose.
If no other kitchen printer is available, EasiPos allows you to print the kitchen order to your receipt printer.
Auto Course Management
EasiPos Automatic Course management ensures that all items belonging to a specific course are "fired" or sent to the kitchen printers at the same time for preparation.
How does it work?
Selected items and quantities are linked to a specific course. Each course can be fired immediately or at a predefined elapsed time or a pre-selected time.
What are the benefits?
The chef gets all specific course orders at the same time. When no automatic course management is available then often a kitchen coordinator would be needed. The Course Management feature can also be used to fire orders to the kitchen at pre-selected times for both telephone and takeaway orders.
Easy bill splitting
EasiPos presents three different and simple methods of splitting bills.
From a single bill, You can open one or more additional bills and transfer items by simply by touching the item on the original bill, tollowed by touching the new bill. This action transfers the item from the original bill to the new bill. In the same way you can transfer items from a single bill to several new bills.
In addition, with "Auto Split" you can share items between two or more bills as well and EasiPos automatically calculates the shared values.
Thirdly, when a large table is opened with a single bill (for example in a beerhall) items are split off to a departing guest or guests as and when they leave the table.
Freely designable
Another feature that sets EasiPos apart from other POS systems, is that our standard panels, buttons and layouts can be re-designed to fit your brand and operational requirements.
Colours, shapes, sizes, fonts, font sizes and even font colours are all selectable in the EasiPos editing panel.
A set of easy to use editing tools, allows you to duplicate button styles, equalize buttons, space, move & line up buttons and add & delete buttons at will.
Editing can be done at any stage.

Bullet proof audit report
This ultra secure audit report, pictured on the left, progressively accumulates data from each and every transaction from the very first day of your EasiPos installation.
The audit report cannot be reset, manipulated or . erased — even if the hard drive becomes corrupted or is re-formatted!
In this way, accountability is ensured from day one, protecting you against fraudulent transactions and transaction tampering.
Only one Dongle is required per Store.
How secure is your system?
Finally, EasiPos addresses one of the most important issues of all — SECURITY! To fully protect your data, EasiPos employs several concurrent levels of protection to ensure the security of your system 24/7.
All connected terminals and devices write all transactions to both the master and back-up master terminals as they occur. In the unlikely event of the master failing, the back-up master takes over as the new master and a new back-up master can then be designated.
